About Our Ministries:
Opportunities for Growth in Worship and the Word

“Adventure in the Bible” - Weekly Wednesday evening in-depth Bible Study on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Kilborn currently is doing an expositional study - verse by verse in the book of Romans.

Beginner’s Point - Pastor Kilborn meets weekly on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. during the School for Christian Growth hour. This meeting is designed to be especially useful to new believers, with tips on the basics of the Christian faith, how to study Scripture, developing and practically applying spiritual behavior, and learning to let Jesus be our teacher.

Christian Growth Hour - meets weekly on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. following the first morning worship service. This hour provides an opportunity for systematic, age-appropriate instruction, necessary for spiritual growth and accountability. The results of Sunday School must help those who engage in the learning process to live the LIFE God intends for them.

“Crave” - is a group meeting on Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. for junior high school, high school and college students. Youth meets to discuss items in the Christian life and in life in general, and how God is able to help.  Discipleship classes are on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m.

K.I.D.S. Church (Kid’s in Divine Service) - meets separately during the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning service. This is for ages 3 - 11 years old. The purpose and philosophy of K.I.D.S. Church is to “reach kids with the Gospel until He comes.” What an awesome responsibility to teach our Kids about the Lord Jesus, and model the Christian life so that a strong foundation can be laid. Kids enjoy learning through music, games, object lessons, praise and worship.

Men’s Ministry - Meets the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Men’s Ministry is designed to develop godly men by providing the opportunity to grow in their walk with the Lord through the study of the Word, worship, encouragement, discipleship and fellowship.

Women’s Ministry - Meets the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. It is a vehicle reaching out to women in our ever changing world. Women’s Ministry is designed for women to come together in fellowship, the study of God’s Word, worship, encouragement, discipling other women and young girls. There are unlimited roles women can play in their family’s lives, in the church and in the community, serving with joy and fulfillment.

Missions

God's power changes lives. Corporately as a church, we obey His Great Commission by reaching out with God's love to others. Anywhere in the world, the faithfulness of one individual can make a difference.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. -Matthew 28:19-20

Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 'This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.'" -Matthew 22:37-39

We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete. -I John 1:3-4

Vision

To provide the Hawaii Assemblies of God and the General Council of the Assemblies of God with an exemplary church fellowship, displaying the UNITY of the faith and Spirit, and of the knowledge of the Son of God (4:13) speaking the truth in LOVE (4:15), may grow up to HIM in all things, and be fitly joined together and compacted (4:16), as we uphold, fulfill and complete the Hawaii State Motto:
